Oil corporations hike gasoline, kerosene costs

OIL corporations raised the pump costs of gasoline and kerosene on Tuesday however lowered the fee of diesel.

Shell, Seaoil, Cleanfuel, Caltex and PetroGazz elevated the costs of gasoline and kerosene by P0.95 per liter and P0.50 per liter, respectively. The associated fee of diesel went down by P0.20 per liter.

Oil Trade Administration Bureau Director Rino Abad stated there was a “suspected tight motion” in pump costs, which is why they had been combined for the week.

“Gasoline and kerosene merchandise could have will increase that is not going to transcend P1,” Abad stated in a radio interview. “Whereas for diesel, the lower is probably not past P1 as effectively.” The Division of Power’s Oil Monitor report stated that as of Dec. 20, 2022, oil corporations have carried out a per liter enhance in gasoline by P0.70, diesel by P2.90 and kerosene by P1.65.

These resulted in year-to-date complete changes at a web enhance of P13.95 per liter for gasoline, P27.50 per liter for diesel, and P20.80 per liter for kerosene.
