PETALING JAYA: Youth and sports activities minister Hannah Yeoh has criticised the motion of a coach who, in a video clip, is seen slapping his college students throughout a volleyball event.
“That is mistaken,” she tweeted in response to a report by The Vibes.
In a clip, which has since made the rounds on social media, the coach of the Melaka under-14 ladies’ volleyball crew was seen slapping two of his gamers throughout the 2022 Malaysia Youth U14 Volleyball Championship in Johor.
Yeoh stated she had spoken to schooling minister Fadhlina Sidek and so they have been each gathering extra data relating to the incident.
In the meantime, former youth and sports activities minister Ahmad Faizal Azumu stated there was no want for such abusive behaviour.
He stated if such issues have been not seemed into, such incidents would recur.
